Regulator because it is a warm blooded organism and is able to
maintain optimum temperature needed for its body to function.
Migration because some populations migrate thousands of miles from the texas region to Canada. Reasons for migrating may be due to decreasing prey abundance to extremely cold winters.
Consumer because it is a heterotroph and cannot make its own food and must get nutrients from other organisms.
Carnivore because its diet mainly consists of meat such as rabbits, marmots, carrions, small birds to even fish.
Generalist because it can survive in a wide range of environmental conditions and are considered hardy. Golden eagles while mostly populous in mountainous ranges are not solely restricted to these areas as they can breed in local areas and habitats. Living in areas in Mexico, Arizona to Canada, they can survive a broad range.
Niche: Golden eagles are hardy animals, they are adaptable to areas of habitat where there are large open areas. They build their nests in cliffs are high areas. They prey upon many small animals which include ground squirrels to even reptiles and amphibians. Considered apex predators, they are generally not preyed upon but do compete nesting areas with other eagles and ravens.
